Yeah, that "asymmetry" is partly due to being right handed (kind of obvious) and partly due to this set up having no access from the other side. When we do this sort of thing in other circumstances (like on a proper spanking bench) I do try to balance things out more, not so much out of some sense of aesthetic, but to balance out her sensation - too much for too long in one spot can become uncomfortable or distracting for her.

To date we have only one photo of Mrs. Pix bent over a proper spanking bench - a grainy cell phone photo snuck by an acquaintance as I "worked" on Mrs. Pix at a party. You make an interesting observation. This kind of play - which does get more intense - is as much mental as it is physical. Very true. There are many who see only one or the another side of this kind of thing and don't get it. That's natural and understandable, if unfortunate. Actually, I should correct myself - intimate understanding is essential, no dilution of that point, but also other intangibles such as you noted are also important: willingness to explore, openness of mind, appetite for sexual adventure, certainly a great deal of mutual trust, and I think even a certain amount if intellectual curiosity and creativity.
